Hi everyone I'm curious does anyone have any resources on how to sign up for transexual jobs and where to go? as to I'm a transexual but desire to be a professional pornstar in the adult industry.

It's not all it's cracked up to be. It's highly competitive and very few models actually have staying power. If you're expecting to get rich just modeling - get that idea out of your head -- you're 10 years too late for that. You can make a living but it's incredibly hard work. You need to constantly be producing new content and heavily self promoting.

The best path forward, if you have the production knowledge & skill is to do your own thing. There's websites like Grooby's own http://www.t.porn as well as places like manyvids.com, clips4sale.com & others where you can sell videos you self-produce. Webcam, offer phone sex -- there's tons of platforms for that. Don't do platforms where you get paid by Paypal as if they find out they will freeze your funds (it's against their TOS).

If you can't do your own thing... check out this post on Grooby's blog: http://groobysteven.com/steven/apply-tg-model-grooby-2015.html. Most of the other major production companies have modeling links on their websites as well you can apply to. You'll make less money this way. Also be aware, most models have a year before they stop getting regular work. So don't expect modeling for others to be a long term career plan.

I think it may help if you were looking to control/produce your own content, as opposed to signing individual gigs with other companies. Obviously this comes with startup costs up front, but if you have a game plan and a budget up, you will be prepared. I had my own Clips4Sale store for a short while but just didn’t have the time to put into it because of the demands of my day job. If you are serious about it, I have a few ideas that might be interested in entertaining. Shoot me a note if you want.

Does this apply to hot convincing TV’s?

Most likely that's an even tougher market... lower demand and a higher number of girls giving it away for free. I suspect it's difficult to make decent revenue out of it.

I have always wondered and I more than understand if you choose not to answer, but is it a fun job, or is it work like anything else?

Obviously, the content is enjoyable to the consumer, but I have always wondered if it is fun to make the content for the preformers.

Don't let anyone fool you - it is work. It can be fun, but it's work. I don't get to decide I'm not in the mood... if I have a deadline, I have to get it done.

To give you an idea of the time and repetitiveness...

Currently my website updates every five days alternating between photos and a matching video. To keep this schedule, I film two photo + video sets on one day every other week. Between dealing with shooting prep both as a model & producer, setting up the studio space for the shoots, filming, then tearing down the equipment & cleaning up, that's 6 -7 hours of work. Each Monday, I spend 4-6 hours editing & outputting the photos and videos for the various formats I'll need over the product cycle of the video. On Wednesdays I spend another 2 hours writing the marketing text for the set and publishing it on the various websites where I'll distribute the video.

For a single set, that's 11 hours of work time just to get it out there to begin to sell. That doesn't count general social media marketing that I need to do to promote my work, interacting with fans, heck - even posting here on HA. And that's just the filmed content portion of what I do. Filmed content for a solo model is only one of several revenue streams you need to maintain.

So yeah... it's work.

:shrug:shrug:shrug Selling porn is a lot easier when you've got a different model each set. Fine! Difficult for a solo model - which was the context of the question. Happy? (And you got to plug your website! You're Welcome.)
