So I'm on Tinder and Bumble and very once in a blue moon I'm bumping into trans profiles....
thank god these ladies are smart enough to state that they are trans in their profiles to prevent any issues or god forbid violence.
But it got me thinking,,,,,what is a trans friendly app? Does one exist?
I was going to assume grinder.....but not sure?

Badoo, POF, and Tagged have many trans women on them
Badoo has no real search you just look at people nearby kind of like grindr
POF you can search for tall girls or whatever and you will find many trans girls
Tagged is kind of ghetto but it has many trans girls too

Pretty sure POF is super anti trans but they have shit mods so the girls are on there and at least in Atl they say they are trans on their page

K,
Yeah like I said I an on bubble and tinder and I see a few TS women a month...though I swipe right doesn't mean they will swipe right on me or anyone....
And they are out about who they are which is very awesome and smart of them so as to prevent violence.
I didn't know POF was anti trans! why is that!
What is Tagged? never herd of that one!

If by anti trans you mean they dont have a trans identifier on there, then I guess. Unless someone who works for them said something anti trans. People say they're trans on there all the time.

OkCupid had trans women.

Grindr has a pay service but so does every other dating app.

actually back when OKCupid was a big deal......which was now ages ago...I met my first long term TS gf on there and actually my last TGGF as well....but isn't OKC dead now?

POF removes profiles when their mods get off their ass and actually do something they will delete any profile with trans in it if it's reported but they take weeks to delete cis women escorting.

Tagged is a dating site the layout is super old but it's kind of popular i think it's more of a minority site but if you like black girls you'll find a good number here it has lives and status feed like Facebook but is a dating site.

I find that tinder and bumble barley have nay trans girls and are overloaded with prissy white cis woman so I don't even use them Tinder is better for trans girls outside of the USA Try some of the sites I mentioned I think you will see a difference

I would argue that outing oneself on a dating profile is actually what invites violence, not being discreet. But a girl has to do so in PMs before something gets sexual, IMO.

I tried Grindr after CL closed their personals sections, it really sucks for trans women, but my gay friends say it sucks for them too, so probably it just sucks.
There are sites and apps to meet trans women for dating.

oh god grinder was horrible for us guys.
if you are a trans woman and want to be told you are gorgeous 50 times per day then yeah it's for you.
if you want to turn tricks...then it's also for you
honestly its just a shit show.
any suggestions?

If you really want to date a trans woman, try transgenderdate. I joined earlier this year and i think its a great site to find a girl if you are looking for something long term. And it looks like there are girls that are just looking for hookups too but not that many. Most seem serious about finding a man for love and marriage. But many are very good looking and passable.

All apps suck, its a shame not to have a real good app for trans meet in exclusive.

sigh miss the good old OKCupid
met an awesome TS woman on there right after my divorce.......wasn't ready to date but there she was
and a few years later met and dated a gorgeous ladyboy on there as well
sadly....she wasn't ready to date

then a few months back attempted to date on grinder....holy shit that was a disaster!
I think the issue is that these women go on line and bump into nothing but fetish boys.......not guys who want to date and treat her like a yummy yummy GF

What happened to okcupid?

My profile got deleted a couple of years ago.

I met a very hot ts from there that was 19 years old and had the tastiest cum I ever had. It tasted a bit like oatmeal cookie batter.

it's amazing that this web page is even still up!
everyone is online via facebook or other!
But that said i believe that OkCupid may no longer be up!
this is very sad because i had zero luck with grinder....which appears to be full of DC's or working girls.....
OKCupid was the place to be and the place to look for local / regional TS women looking to actually go out on a date and to get to know you.
Look call me silly....working girls are nice....and the sex i'm sure is ok.....
But nothing and i do mean nothing accounts for GREAT sex ...like knock your sox off sensual amazing sex than meeting someone getting to know them go our on a few dates then inviting them back to your place for dinner and a proper 4 hours of fucking!
from the kitchen counter top....nothing is more fun than lifting your date up on to the counter top hiking her skirt up and sucking her clit till she screams and nothing more sensual than fucking her up the stairs and nothing more magical than waking up with her in your arms her ass pressed against your hard cock and her reaching back and letting you fuck her slowly while she wakes up.....

but sadly well....guess the world has changed? maybe this place could become the next OK Cupid?

Here's my take on some of the apps and sites mentioned ...

Grindr

Pros: The app automatically makes inactive profiles invisible, so you only see users who've logged recently. The free version has enough features to be usable without paying. There are lots of trans women on the app. The app sorts by distance, even when someone turns off that feature so any profile you see will be within a reasonable distance of you. Most users list their sexual position preference (i.e., top, bottom, verse), and the selections are nuanced (i.e., verse bottom and verse top options) so you can avoid awkward situations (after all, two total tops don’t make a bottom!)

Cons: There are lots of people on the app looking for things other than hookups, dates, relationships, etc. (i.e., scammers, AI bots, drug dealers and buyer, escorts and pimps, generally super-sketchy weirdos, etc.)

FWIW: Since the app is primarily used for hookups, users tend to be a little terse, impatient, superficial, and skeptical of anyone there who says they're looking for more than just a one-off fuck.

Tinder

Pros: Many relationship-minded trans woman use the app. So, if that's what you're looking for it can be useful. The app is pretty good not matching you with an inactive profile or someone located too far away. Also, Tinder's enforces its terms of use polices very strictly and requires verification based on a unique cellphone number or Facebook profile, so you’ll have less issues with scammers, AI bots, and people trying facilitate illegal stuff than on Grindr.

Cons: It's very hard to find trans women on Tinder because the app doesn't have a "trans" filter. As a result, many trans women get reported and permanently banned for catfishing when they're matched with a guy who's only into cis women and reacts badly. This is also true for guys who say they're looking for trans women in their profile. Lastly, the since the site is designed for cishet people, you cannot quickly determine sexual compatibility with a trasn women by seeing whether she’s a bottom, top, or verse.

FWIW: Tinder is probably great for cis people looking for other cis people. But the app is terrible both for trans women and men who are looking for them.

Transgenderdate

Pros: The site (which was designed back in the Web 2.0 era) is specifically for trans people and anyone looking for trans people.

Cons: The site never purges inactive profiles, so it’s not uncommon to see a user who hasn’t logged on is years. You can view the site for free but if you do not pay for a membership the site is totally unusable (you cannot send or read messages, view pictures pics, see preference re: bottom/top, etc.) And being such an old site, its usability is kinda shitty by modern standards.

FWIW: In theory, this site is intended to facilitate romantic (rather that sexual) connections. However, in my experience, most trans women who use the site regularly only seem interested in networking with other trans women. Also, for various reasons, the trans women on the are way more prone to be judgmental about men’s sexual position preference (i.e., top, bottom, verse) and engage in vitriolic bottom shaming.

Tsdating

Pros: The site (which was designed back in the Web 2.0 era) is specifically for trans people and anyone looking for trans people.

Cons: Same as both Grindr and Transgenderdate combined.

FWIW: This site has a vibe like Craigslist back in the day, meaning it's emphasis is casual encounters and "misc. romance" (whatever that is). However, because of its cons, this site is an utter waste of time.

Has anyone ever tried Transgender 1,2,3. You can sign up for free, but have to pay a fee to actually connect to anyone. I was looking at it, and thinking of joining, but I'm afraid that if I want to quit they won't stop charging my credit card.

I've heard cautiously positive feedback from a couple trans women that I know. But, I've never used it myself.

UPDATE

Jack'd

I tried out Jack'd recently. Since it's geolocational, I did notice a lot of familiar faces from Grindr and similar apps. However, there were also a lot of users I didn't recognize. Notably, virtually all the trans women I see on Jack'd are black. I'm really not sure if that is by design or just an odd quirk of my area. I found this notable, though, because I live in a demographically diverse area, so on Grindr, for example, I always see trans women of various ethic backgrounds.

Other than that, I found Jack'd to be virtually an identical experience to Grindr in terms of the pros and cons.

Taimi is great. You can set the distance for matching, but you can also match with girls around the world by scrolling through stories. Many gorgeous girls. Fun for chat. Also, definitely not as hookup-centric as Grindr -- almost every girl wants a serious relationship. I have around 70 matches currently, some local, some on the other side of the world.

I recently met someone on Doublelist, which has replaced Craigslist in a lot of places. It is just for sex and relationship ads, and somehow they have managed to keep off the escorts. I see few ads from trans women on there, and a fair number of ads from CDs looking for sex. They don't have a "trans" section, but they do have a "Gay for Straight," which is where a lot of these ads appear. Some may appear in the "Women for guys" section. These are categories in the "Connect Now" section, which is for hook-ups. I had advertised in the "Dating" section. I put an ad in, but I only got one response. I did go out with her once, but I'm not sure if it will work out. It was a positive experience though.

I went on transdr and only connected with 1 person. But I dated that person for several months. We would still be dating but we were 90 miles apart. So the app isn't great by any means but I found a partner and had a great few months.
