I cannot find a thread on here about the Murder of Naomi Hersi in London March 2018

London seems to have had an especially violent start to 2018 and when someone else was murdered just up the road from us in North London, I googled a story and a list of the victims so far this year came up. As I was scrolling through, I saw someone I knew well, staring back at me, London based but Somalian born Naomi Hersei. Me and my partner met her and a buddy of hers a couple if years ago and met up a few times to go clubbing there after. My partner and her really got on well with them both being African. To find she had been murdered was deeply disturbing and as per normal the UK press did not handle it well, wrongly referring to her as a male victim in initial reports.

One can easily speculate as to what happened here but a 24-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl were arrested, the former with her murder. The girl goes to the courts I believe tomorrow, while the man is due to be seen in June I believe. I am not even sure he is still inside at the moment and no one in the press seems to have been able to get hold of a picture of him, but they certainly didn't have a problem blasting Naomi's face all over Social Media.

Naomi was a force of nature and whatever happened that night, she certainly did not deserve to die in this manner and even worse, alone. I pray they will not be let off easy but only time will tell on that one. RIP hun, thanks for some great memories.

What interested me, that was not discussed in the documentary, is the claim that McDonald returned to his hotel annex room in Hounslow after a 'four hour' sex session with his girlfriend Natalia, but, still feeling 'horny' went on the web and found Naomi on a dating app (I can't recall if it was named) and arranged to meet her later that day in Naomi's flat in Mill Hill, in North West London.
Much of McDonald's 'self-defence' clams are based on what he claims was Naomi's coercive and manipulative behavior, indeed he claims in the documentary he was forced to bend over and suck Naomi's cock before being 'bum raped'. Why, then, did he remain in the apartment for three days during which they were filmed on CCTV shopping locally together? When he took her back to his place in Hounslow, it was to give her £80 he owed for drugs they consumed, but surely he could have gone to a local atm in Mill Hill to get the money?

My spin suggests he had either had sex with men or transgendered men before, or that it was his 'first time' and he enjoyed it, enjoyed it enough to spend days with Naomi, something she had apparently not done with other 'clients' if we can call them that and based on her neighbour's recollections. A public discussion of men attracted sexually to transgendered men does not take place, nor the wider implications if the relations go beyond sex, and the existence of a teenage girlfriend, which in another context might be a wife with or without children. But I am also aware that there is a narcotic component to this story -McDonald made a living selling narcotics on the 'dark web' and if Naomi was into drugs as appears to be the case, she may have been arranging barter sex and got angry if/when McDonald did not deliver what he promised -thus they may have gone back to his place to access whatever drugs he had there.

I accept there is a degree of speculation here, and we may never know the whole of the truth, but I do think an honest discussion of the sexual element has not been addressed, and that it must play a key role in explaining how what is normally at best a one-hour encounter turned into the last days of Naomi's life.

Hi, this is one of my first posts here. This thread caught my attention and I ended up watching the BBC documentary last night.

At the very end it had footage of James McDonald during his arrest, and he said some things about Naomi maybe giving him AIDS. The police detective then said that the virus was nonexistent in her bloodstream. Which leads me to think that she had HIV but was on PREP and thus had a zero virus load.

My guess is that McDonald had a consensual, three day, crystal-meth fueled sex binge with her where she barebacked him repeatedly. At some point she told him about her HIV/PREP status, and since he was out of his mind by the fourth day of a meth binge, he snapped and killed her in a frenzy.

It is a very sad story.
