Whats the fundamental difference between CD and TV?

I'm still unsure what the difference is between a Crossdresser and a Transvestite is..........Anybody?

I belive the difference is that a CD is a man that likes to wear womens clothes. Many are straight men, are married (well some of them are) and other than the fact that they dress in womens clothing sometimes, they are just regular guys. Transvestites on the other hand truly have the desire to be a woman, but they have not had anything done to them either surgically or hormonally. I'm not susre if that is 100% correct, but I think its close.

Crossdresser - dresses in a woman's clothes primarily for sexual urges or kick.

Tranvestite - feels better dressed in a woman's clothes and enjoys/feel's comfortable wearing them. Not always sexual based.

Either can be gay or hetero. Neither feels like a woman trapped in a man's body, that would be a transsexual.
