I want to say Yumbo as well, but you kind of just missed the party.

The first half of May is always Maspalomas Pride, one of the biggest LGBT events in all of Europe. But it ended last weekend. Most people, including TS, who attended it will probably be back home now, and regular tourists will become more numerous every day now towards summer season.

But do ask around in some of the bars at the Yumbo Center. They will probably know.
