One of the original rockers has passed away. He was such a influence on many of the rock-n-roll artist of the boomer generation. He will be missed.

Was able to see him several times, mainly as a guest artist, Clapton, Springsteen.....you could always count on a good jam when he was on stage

I was lucky enough to see him up close and personal several times in the 1980's . Great performer and a nice guy , RIP.
