I can usually suspend belief for a (half) decent B-Movie, but parts of this are so bad, it's laughable.

Just watched this. Actually not a bad story-line and Sigourney keeps you watching till the end.

Walter Hill has good pedigree.
I think he wanted it to be a bit of a graphic novel but very subtle about it.

Worth a watch.
