Burbank, CA – Grooby Productions’ flagship membership website ShemaleYum.com celebrates the addition of its 1800th transgender model this week, which represents 100 models for each year the site has been online since launching in 1996. The honor of being the 1800th model goes to first-timer, Katie Pastel, photographed by Omar Wax in Texas last month.

“It’s always been the agenda of Shemale Yum to introduce brand new models to the web. Almost every TS model has had their start on Shemale Yum and many return to shoot with us on this site or one of its sister sites,” said Grooby Productions owner Steven Grooby. “In our first years we had difficulty finding new models every month – our photographers were out in clubs, calling from adverts and networking to find new models; now we’re inundated with models contacting us wanting to work. It’s great to look back and see how many girls we’ve shown and I think 1,800 is quite the milestone. I’m hoping our 2000th model will hit our 20 year anniversary, in two years’ time.”

Grooby established itself as one of the pioneer adult transgender companies with its first website, Shemale Yum, which was labeled as “the first transsexual paysite with original content.” The site features exclusive solo and hardcore scenes from the U.S., Canada, and Europe, from the industry’s top models. Practically every TS model in the industry has been featured or made her media debut on ShemaleYum.com.

Founded in 1996, the Grooby Productions is now based in Los Angeles as the leading producer of transgender erotica, operating over 30 membership websites. The company also has a popular DVD line released with Third World Media and operates a number of free forums. For more information, visit Grooby.com.

Grooby Productions hosts the annual Transgender Erotica Awards. Now in its seventh year, the event continues to be the only one of its kind and celebrates the accomplishments of the TS adult industry.
